Sit back, relax and enjoy your time today
… and remember to be thankful for the small things.
If you’re planning on having a large traditional Thanksgiving meal this year, remember a few of these helpful health tips:
Meal time should be an enjoyable time, whether by yourself, on zoom, or with family. Use all your 5 senses and be present.
Eat slow, speak slow, keep your distance or wear a mask where possible, eye contact and being engaged are more important for our relationships than ever before
Don’t sweat the small things, and count your blessings
Make half your plate colorful with bright and leafy vegetables
Take small spoons of everything else on the other half!
Have portion control - Remember there’s always the possibility of left overs!
Drink responsibly
Hydrate with water
